These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flux mobile application ("Flux", "the app", "the service"). By downloading or using Flux, you agree to these Terms. Please read them. They're written in plain language.
Flux is a habit tracking and productivity app designed for people with ADHD. It includes habit tracking, an AI-powered task breakdown feature ("Panic Mode"), virtual body doubling focus rooms, personal insights, and habit reminders. Some features are available on the free plan; others require a Flux Pro subscription.
Flux is a habit-building tool. It is not a medical product, a clinical intervention, or a substitute for professional ADHD treatment, medication, therapy, or medical advice. If you have health concerns related to ADHD, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flux. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app and agree to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent feature limits. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.
Free plan: The Flux free plan is available at no cost and includes up to 3 habits, 1 AI Panic Mode use per day, and 7 days of insights history. Free features may change over time with reasonable notice.
Flux Pro: Flux Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited habits, unlimited AI Panic Mode, the full Focus Room, 30-day insights history, AI habit suggestions and tips, and weekly AI pattern summaries.
Subscription plans and pricing:
All prices are in USD. Prices in other currencies will be determined by the App Store or Google Play based on prevailing exchange rates. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with advance notice. If we change the price of your current plan, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Flux Pro includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. The free trial begins when you initiate a subscription and select a plan. You will not be charged during the trial period.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the paid plan you selected (weekly or annual) at the applicable price. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial.
Free trials are available once per Apple ID or Google account. If you previously had a Flux Pro subscription or free trial under the same Apple ID or Google account, you may not be eligible for another free trial.
Flux Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged at the start of each billing period (weekly or annually).
Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise Apple or Google to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
How to cancel on iOS: Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flux → Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
How to cancel on Android: Open Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → Flux → Cancel. You can also manage subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancelling stops future renewals. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period, at which point your account reverts to the free plan. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.

Your habits, notes, focus intentions, and any other content you create in Flux belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
By using Flux, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including training AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for the content you enter. Do not enter sensitive personal information (such as financial details, health records, or passwords) into habit names or notes fields.
Panic Mode and habit suggestions are powered by Claude AI, developed by Anthropic. AI-generated responses are for general productivity guidance only. They may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as professional, medical, psychological, or clinical advice.
When you use AI features, the text you enter (your task description or habit name) is transmitted to Anthropic's API. Please review our Privacy Policy for details. Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI input fields.
AI feature availability depends on your subscription plan and is subject to usage limits. We reserve the right to modify AI feature limits to manage costs and ensure service reliability.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.
Flux, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding your personal content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on your devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you, except the limited licence described above. The Flux name, logo, and app design may not be used without our prior written permission.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that Flux will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may:
We are not liable for damages caused by service outages or modifications.
Flux is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will meet your specific requirements, that results obtained will be accurate, or that any defects will be corrected. Use of Flux for habit building does not guarantee any particular outcome. Individual results vary.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Flux, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) $10 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. We will always attempt to resolve disputes amicably first. Please contact us at hello@flux-app.org before initiating any formal legal proceedings, and we will make a genuine effort to resolve your concern within 30 days.
For users in the European Union: nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law, including your right to withdraw from a digital content contract within 14 days unless you have already started using the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app. Continued use of Flux after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the app and cancel your subscription.
